These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of tech.ldas.jp (the "Site") and the services provided through it (the "Services"). By using the Services you agree to these Terms.

These Terms are written in English for convenience. The authoritative version is the Japanese Terms of Service. In case of any conflict, the Japanese version prevails.

1. Scope

These Terms govern the legal relationship between the operator and any user of the Site with respect to the Services.

3. Accounts

  1. Some features of the Services (favorites, membership, etc.) require sign-in via a Google account.
  2. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and must not let any third party use your account.
  3. The operator is not liable for any loss arising from unauthorized use of your account.
  4. You may delete your account at any time from the account settings page.

4. Membership (paid service)

  1. Membership is a paid service: in exchange for the prescribed fee, members gain access to members-only content.
  2. Pricing, payment method, delivery timing, and cancellation procedures are set out in the Commercial Transactions Act disclosure (Japanese).
  3. Payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. Card and other payment data are processed by Stripe in a PCI DSS-compliant environment; the Site does not store payment data.
  4. You may cancel your membership at any time from the account settings page or via the Stripe customer portal. After cancellation you retain access to members-only content until the end of the paid period.
  5. Because of the nature of digital content, the operator does not provide pro-rata refunds for partial periods after the service has been delivered.

5. Content rights and usage

  1. Copyright in the articles, images, and code on the Site ("Site Content") belongs to the operator or to the respective rights holders.
  2. You may not copy, redistribute, or repost Site Content beyond the scope of private use. When citing Site Content, please link back to the Site and indicate that it is a citation.
  3. Members-only content may be accessed only by the member personally during the active membership period. Sharing or redistribution to any third party is prohibited.

6. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to engage in any of the following while using the Services:

  • Conduct that violates laws or public order
  • Conduct that constitutes or relates to a crime
  • Conduct that infringes the rights or interests of the operator, other users, or third parties
  • Interference with the operation of the Services (excessive access, unauthorized access, reverse engineering, etc.)
  • Using another user's account, or letting another person use your account
  • Sharing or redistributing members-only content to third parties
  • Sending bulk automated requests, including by scraping
  • Other conduct the operator reasonably deems inappropriate

7. Changes, suspension, and termination

  1. The operator may change, add, or remove features of the Services without prior notice.
  2. The operator may temporarily suspend the Services for maintenance, incident response, or other reasonable causes.
  3. The operator may discontinue all or part of the Services on reasonable advance notice (in principle at least 30 days). In that case, users with an active membership will be refunded an amount corresponding to the unfulfilled portion.

8. Disclaimer

  1. The operator does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any content on the Site.
  2. The operator is not liable for any decisions or actions you take based on Site Content.
  3. Except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence by the operator, the operator is not liable for any damages arising from interruption or delay of the Services, loss of data, or any other matter relating to the Services.
  4. Where the operator is found liable, the operator's aggregate liability is limited to the amount of fees you have paid to the operator in the most recent 12 months.

9. Changes to these Terms

The operator may change these Terms when reasonably necessary, without prior individual notice. The amended Terms take effect when published on this page. Substantial changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the bottom of this page.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Japanese law. Any dispute arising in connection with the Services is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court of the operator's place of residence.
